ASEA, with presence in Phra Khanong now, is an emerging global leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing high-quality cellular health products. AEA officially launched in 2010 with its inaugural product based on cutting-edge technology known as redox signalling. The launch of ASEA Redox Supplement was so well received by consumers and the company soon become a multi-million-dollar global enterprise. ASEA patented technology restructures salt and water to produce the life-sustaining molecules outside the body. ASEA operates in 26 international markets and is poised to expand in Asia. The goal of ASEA founders and executives is to continue to focus on cellular health category, develop products that address natural solutions to our overall health and wellness.
Phra Khanong Redox Signalling Water -ASEA
Ironman Triathlete: This year I set the goal to set the world record for most Half Ironman’s in a year. I am doing events every other week and sometimes weekly. There is a stretch of 8 weeks where I will compete in 7 half Ironman’s. A friend introduced me to ASEA and I wasn’t sure what to think. I went to a sports clinic and got tested and then went on the product for 6 weeks. I returned and did the same test. I was able to run faster, on a steeper incline, with a lower heart rate. Tests don’t lie and so I knew that ASEA was something that I had to have to help me accomplish my goals. ASEA helps me to recover quickly and even get more training in some of the short weeks before events. With this product I get back on my feet and go out and kill it again. I wouldn’t want to be without ASEA. I think my performance would drop and I think I would be risking injury. I absolutely love it and I want to stay on it forever.
Professional Cyclist: I am the current California Masters State Criterium Champion. One of the things about criterium racing that makes it unique is that it demands that you put out an extremely hard anaerobic effort and then recover and do it again and again. There is a really big race that happens every year – the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix. I had won the race three years in a row and was very excited about going for number four. Three weeks prior I had a horrible crash that put me in bed and I couldn’t do anything. The last week a friend turned me on to ASEA and I started taking it twice a day. That was the only thing I was able to do prior to the event. Three days before the race I was able to get on my bike. The only thing I had done a week before was drink ASEA. ASEA was my training. I came out and won the fourth year in a row… I did nothing except that and won. ASEA is a key part of my protocol moving forward. I am very excited for the races to come.
Former Olympian & World Champion: Beach volleyball is a very difficult sport. It requires a lot from your body to move around and cover the court. It can be very grueling. I have been searching for 25 years for a product that would help me perform and be safe to compete with. I decided to try ASEA. I did a workout that I normally do and then tried to push myself a little harder. Normally my legs would shake after this type of a workout, but this time I noticed I didn’t feel the fatigue. I also typically struggle to recover the next day from this type of workout, but the next day I felt great. ASEA allows me to actually go out and train, feel good, recover, and then train more often. Now I tell everyone about ASEA because I have never seen anything like it. ASEA helps me to do things closely to the way I used to years ago. Even though my career is over, I still enjoy the benefits of ASEA.
Hollywood Stuntman: Being a stuntman is very technically and physically challenging. Stepping in to get hit by a car or jump off a building takes a physical toll on your body It requires that I find a way to stay healthy. It is key to have a sustained recovery. I feel every day drinking ASEA that my energy is back. I am able to do an extra run at the end of my run. I finish up my workout where I am totally spent and am able to play basketball for a couple of hours after the workout with my sons. I notice a sustained energy. After 50 years of training and doing stunts, I am still able to perform. I know that ASEA will be a part of my regimen for the rest of my life.
College Basketball Coach: When I was introduced to ASEA I was very impressed with the three components of endurance, recovery, and repair. This is something you never see included in one product. I played college basketball and professionally. I have had 14 knee surgeries. ASEA has absolutely changed my life and allowed me to do the things I love to do. Previously I have been limited, but with ASEA I have found that I am able to go out day after day and do the things that I love to do. ASEA has opened my eyes because it has measurable results. The VO2 max testing has allowed me to see something that I haven’t seen previously in other products. I love that this is not an energy drink – it is an endurance product, which is completely different. With energy drinks there is a high and then there’s a low. With ASEA, there’s not ever a low. Because of that it is going to change the athletic playing field in college, Olympic, and professional athletes.
49-Yeal-Old Triathlete: I was introduced to ASEA earlier this year. I tried it and noticed that I was sleeping better. After a couple weeks I noticed that my workouts were getting stronger in the second half. I was finishing up better. I recently completed in the Triple Crown of Running and had a personal record in each of the races, and negative splits in all of the races as well. In my first triathlon this year I was only 4 minutes off my best triathlon time that I did 23 years ago. People at the races ask me what I am on that is impacting my results. I tell them that I am on ASEA. I feel that ASEA provides me an edge in the races that I compete in. I don’t see myself ever stopping ASEA.
Is ASEA Capable Of Curing All That Ails You?
When we talk about water, we have regular tap water, filtered tap water, bottled water, purified bottled water, and purified bottled water that has things added to it. Anyone will tell you that tap water is the cheapest option, but clearly many people want more from their water than not developing a parasite. I admit to filtering my own water, mostly because ancient piping to my home contains slightly too much lead for my tastes. So ASEA clearly falls into the category of purified water with something added. But does it go beyond water? Will four ounces a day really do this? “Regardless of age, gender, or genetic disposition, ASEA Redox Supplement provides your body what it needs to stay active and healthy longer.” It helps everyone?
Well, ask the simpler question? Does water help everyone? Yes, it does. Dehydration can kill. Rehydrating a person can help with anything from constipation to heart failure to failure to thrive in infants. And with our current level of knowledge it is virtually impossible to tell how truly dehydrated a person is. So rehydrating a person, using anything from oral tap water to IV solution is very helpful.
Does that mean that ASEA is what it says it is? Not necessarily. Based on the Amazon cost, ASEA is likely eight times as expensive as a high-end, souped up, flavor added premium water. If you look at Amazon, the results are spectacular to not-at-all to severe side effects (itching, nausea). Despite ASEA’s claim that they are very different from other products, the packaging lists salt and water on the label. A quick search of the internet will find dozens of “water cure” options, including many that use salt as an additive. The general idea is to consume massive amounts of water, which then improves your health. By this standard, ASEA falls far short of the required amounts.
So does ASEA have some miraculous way of making sure the salt in the water stays in solution separately? We don’t know. Supplement geek went through all the studies, and I won’t replicate his findings, just say that the individual claims don’t seem to play out in an overall picture in human testing.
But have the experts at ASEA found a way to maintain redox molecules in solution in a stable form? Let’s start with the reality that they are not doing so chemically, because no other chemical is present. So the only way that they could separate ions and maintain stability would be through an electromagnetic process, either heating, applying electricity, etc. Then the ionized material would be added to the water, or the salt-water itself would be ionized.
Other companies have water ionizers on the market, selling them directly to consumers. They don’t add salt to the water, which would tend to stabilize any ionization. But their products also lack significant human trials.
Now, the argument would be if ASEA is capable of maintaining the ionization of salt water while on the shelf. But the reality is that normal salt water, without anything magical added, maintains a certain amount of ionization in solution. Salt is an electrolyte, and “electrolytes are molecules that dissociate in water forming cations (positively charged ions) and anions (negatively charged ions).”
In regular water this isn’t a huge factor. “The degree of ionization of water is very low and the number of water molecules dissociated into ions is minuscule.” But that ionization can be altered by adding an electrolyte: “dissolved substances alter the concentration of either hydrogen ions or hydroxide ions, a concomitant change of the same magnitude must occur in the other ion to maintain constant the ionic product for water.”
So what happens when you add salt to the body? A great deal. Salt is sodium chloride: “the main anions normally circulating in human plasma are chloride and bicarbonate, while the most abundant plasma cation is sodium. Alterations in the concentration of these ions that modify their relative proportion inducing an electrical imbalance are the predominant cause of acid-base disorders.”
The effect of salt on the human body is so profound that we see regular MDs recommending avoiding too much salt to help prevent cardiovascular disease. This advice may not result in any long-term benefit but it is broad-based and worldwide. So drinking salt water, not necessarily anything with an ASEA-style “magical” intervention, might affect the human body dramatically.
So as far as I can tell drinking large quantities of water, and large quantities of water with salt, will both affect the human body. Glancing at the comments of people drinking ASEA I feel like both the possible perceived benefits and the side effects of ASEA could be explained by drinking salt water. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the proprietary processing of ASEA is likely some sort of ionizing machine that they found wouldn’t hold the ionization in solution without the addition of salt. So they added salt to stabilize the ionization longer.
If that’s the case, does ionized water help humans? Short answer, we don’t know. Longer answer, it may help when the kidneys are severely compromised, but we only have animal studies at this point.
